K2 Skis

The name of the company K2 refers to the famous eight-thousander. However, it also means the two founders of the company, the Kirschner brothers. Based on his experiences, in 1961, Bill Kirschner designed fiberglass skis. The innovative product immediately proved to be a success and made K2 the largest ski manufacturer in the USA.
