LANGE is the main manufacturer of ski boots used in alpine skiing (downhill). In 1962, they introduced the world's first plastic ski boots, and in 1965, a significantly improved model intended for the racing market. After several victories in the World Cup and Olympic Games in 1967 and 1968, they became mandatory on the track, LANGE has remained a force since then on the racing boot market. Their boots equipped five times more World Championship medalists than any other brand in 2000. The front design introduced by LANGE is used to this day by almost every modern ski boot.
